About This Activity
Get a jump-start on the next school year! Fast Forward introduces students to the concepts they will encounter in their next grade level—in a fun, exploratory and no-pressure/no-homework/no-grades structure. The USA Rocks! Students will learn about money, number sense and foundational reading and writing skills based on the social science theme of our national symbols. Students will also use a variety of digital tools to produce and publish their writing. We'll also focus on "Matter Matters to Me!" Students will learn about measurement, addition, shapes, classifying, foundational reading and writing skills based on the science theme of States of Matter. Come join us and get a head start to an exciting year of first grade!
