About This Activity
Get a jump-start on Kindergarten! in a fun, exploratory and no-pressure/no-homework/no-grades structure. During this session, students will explore the life of bugs: incorporating letter recognition, phonemic awareness, numbers, counting, listening and following directions. Students will create/design those pesky bugs that can be found during picnics. Focus: Red White and Blue: 4th of July Extravaganza. Students will learn about the symbols of America through patriotic projects; incorporating letter recognition, phonemic awareness, listening and following directions. They will also explore number recognition, sorting, graphing, identifying shapes, patterning and counting. Students will wear their patriotic projects at a patriotic parade.
