Drop off time 1 PM for PM only campers, you can mix/match with Summer Chinese Programs for whole day program. 7/8-7/12 Chess 西洋棋 Chess: Exercise both sides of your brains by learning how to play chess, which improves planning strategy and critical thinking. Material fee: $20 (to teacher/coach) will be required if your set is not the “Scholastic” (required by coach). 7/15 - 7/19 Chinese instruments Students will learn about different traditional Chinese instruments – how they work and how to play them. The course is designed such that students will be able to play simple, but familiar songs to increase their interest in Chinese music. Chinese instruments include gu zheng (zither), erhu, percussion etc.
