Using Spanish as the primary language of instruction, students will discover the art of digital story telling with an emphasis on visual and oral communication through mixed media methods and technology. They will use creativity and problem solving skills to develop a foundation in producing and editing digital video, audio, and still images on various thematic projects. Students will amplify their voices by producing great character-focused stories. They will leave with an understanding of what makes a great story, including teaching about the main character’s journey, using accessible technology (including capturing digital audio, video, and photos), and producing simple films. Prerequisite: Must be be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish, as the class will be taught entirely in Spanish.
