Program Details: This 4 week training program is designed to train to compete in the funnest all women’s DH race in the country, the Dirty Downhill presented by Sturdy Dirty! Each week we will work on various skills, build fitness, tackle fun and challenging trail features, and support each other in our individual zones of progression. Pro Sweetlines Coach, Heather, will work with participants to focus on smoothly descending both sections similar to the Cat 3 course at Dry Hill, PA. By the end of the program riders will feel more confident and ready for race weekend. If we want to progress further we can travel to Dry Hill in Port Angeles and practice on a prior date. The trails for DD are much more difficult (and fun!) than Duthie trails, they are longer, steeper, rockier, rootier, and more technical. This program requires participants to have an intermediate level of riding for safety. The goal is to participate in the Cat 3 ages 11+ OR the Party Pace (non-competitive).
