About This Activity
In this workshop, participants will practice basic electrical repair skills with an emphasis on safety. Students will learn how to disassemble a lamp, prepare cord ends, replace a plug, and wire a lamp socket. These skills can be applied to lamp repair as well as building your very own table lamp from scratch. Students will leave with the knowledge needed to rewire their own lamps or build a lamp from scratch. There is no take-home project for this class. Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
