About This Activity
In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of toilet function and repair: how a toilet flushes, how to replace a toilet, and the top ten causes for leaks (and how to fix them!). Using a snake and a variety of hand tools, students will learn how to unclog a toilet and replace all the essential components inside its tank. We’ll even demonstrate the process of removing a toilet from the floor in order to replace a critical item: its wax ring. Students will go home with the fundamentals to tackle common toilet issues. Don’t worry, you don’t have to lug the toilet home! Students under 18 may attend with parental permission.
