About This Activity
Have kids who LOVE video games? Join our Esports (competitive video game) Afterschool Adventure, where we merge education, gaming, and social-emotional learning to create a one-of-a-kind experience—designed for students of all gaming levels. Students will learn League of Legends, the most popular 5-versus-5-player video game in the esports industry. Hosted in person by Ms. Ingrid and virtually by professional coaches from EKUSO, a youth development company that is comprised of nationally-ranked esports competitors. Campers will need to bring their own gaming laptop or PC. Open to grades 5th -8th. Students will develop teamwork, build confidence, and have FUN! Please note- This Afterschool Adventure requires a signed waiver. The waiver will be emailed after registration and needs to be signed and emailed to Ingrid at ibowler@thediscoveryschool.org. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:15.
