About This Activity
The Cathedral Arts Project is a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of quality visual and performing arts instruction for children and young adults in Northeast Florida. In this beginner-level program, students will learn the fundamentals of ballet, as well as develop muscle memory and learn rhythm, coordination, musicality, and choreography through age-appropriate movement and music. The class is taught by a professional dance instructor with over 20 years of experience teaching dance to students of all ages. This dance program seeks to nurture students as movers, thinkers, creators, and performers as they investigate and experiment with movement, learn the fundamentals of dance technique, build and choreograph dances, and present and perform their learning through an end-of-program family performance. ** This afterschool adventure will start on January 29th**
