In this camp, children will explore a wide range of mediums, printmaking, ink, acrylic paint, drawing, watercolors, collage, building 3d objects, and clay. Process art lets children freely explore materials, experiment with techniques, and express ideas and emotions—fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. In my classes, I focus on the creative process with open-ended, choice-based activities that spark discovery. Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy, I honor children’s diverse ways of thinking, playing, exploring, speaking, and creating Taught by Helena Acosta Helena Acosta is an artist, educator, and the founder of Jax Little Art, a home-based and pop-up art studio, a process art-inspired space for children and adults to explore their creativity.
