In this exciting, project-based afterschool program, students are grouped by age and ability to ensure the best learning experience for every child. This is a drop-off program, and depending on enrollment, 2–3 clubs may run simultaneously, each tailored to a specific age range or skill level. Younger and beginner students build foundational skills using introductory platforms like Scratch Jr. and early robotics, while older or more experienced students take on more advanced coding, engineering, and design challenges using tools such as LEGO SPIKE, Scratch, and Micro:bit. Curriculum focus rotates every 12–14 weeks, allowing students to build a strong foundation across multiple STEM areas throughout the year. Projects are refreshed each season, ensuring returning students continue to be challenged with new experiences and deeper learning. Across all groups, students explore core concepts from Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on projects that encourage creativity, exploration, and critical thinking. The program also emphasizes important soft skills including teamwork, communication, presentation, and problem-solving, helping prepare students for more advanced learning and future coding and robotics opportunities. Families will receive regular updates through ClassDojo, and the semester concludes with a fun-filled Carnival Day featuring unplugged activities and a prize redemption experience using points earned throughout the program.
