About This Activity
Calling all future chefs and animal enthusiasts! This one's for you. We'll learn all about dog and cat nutrition and which foods are safe and unsafe for our furry friends to eat. We'll use our newfound knowledge to concoct our own dog food recipes and find out which cuisine reigns supreme. Drop-off and pickup: Drop-off is from 9:45 - 10:00 a.m. and pickup is from 12:00 - 12:15 p.m. All participants MUST be signed in and out by a parent/guardian. When dropping off and picking up, please use the single door to the left of our main Adoption & Education entrance and take the stairs to the second level. A sign will be placed outside to help direct you. If you need to use an elevator, one is available through the second door. JHS will be opening when pickup starts at 12:00 p.m., so you will be able to head downstairs to look around the facility if you would like. What should my child wear? Children should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. Closed-toe shoes that cover the foot completely are required - no Crocs, please. What should my child bring with them? We recommend children bring a water bottle with them.
