About This Activity
Students will become adoption heroes in this pet promoters workshop! We'll learn the art of promoting pets available for adoption and unleash our creativity to help some dogs and cats at JHS find their new, loving homes. From creating eye-catching and informative posters to designing social media posts, we'll make a real difference for pets in need. We may even get to meet a new furry friend! Drop-off and pickup: Drop-off is from 9:45 - 10:00 a.m. and pickup is from 12:00 - 12:15 p.m. All participants MUST be signed in and out by a parent/guardian. Please be prepared to show photo ID for pickup. When dropping off and picking up, please use the single door to the left of our main Adoption & Education entrance and take the stairs to the second level. A sign will be placed outside to help direct you. If you need to use an elevator, one is available through the second door. JHS will be opening when pickup starts at 12:00 p.m., so you will be able to head downstairs to look around the facility if you would like. What should my child wear? Children should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. Closed-toe shoes that cover the foot completely are required - no Crocs, please. What should my child bring with them? We recommend children bring a water bottle with them.
