This hands-on, project-based course is designed to teach young learners the fundamentals of design, computer coding, and robotics. Each day, students will build and program their own robots, applying the concepts covered in class. They'll explore key principles of mechanical engineering, including the use of gears, pulleys, axles, and levers, while learning to code with block-based programming. With an emphasis on practical skills and creativity, this course is perfect for future coders, engineers, and innovators! Multiple teachers will be at each camp to ensure that students are grouped by age and ability, allowing materials to be presented in a way that is developmentally appropriate. Older and more advanced learners will be challenged with more complex topics and projects tailored to their skill level. ClassDojo will be utilized to provide updates to parents throughout the week on key concepts learned and projects completed."
