Unlock a full day of creativity, engineering, and hands-on STEM learning! This exciting combo camp brings together the best of virtual design and real-world robotics. Students in grades K–8 are thoughtfully grouped by age and skill level, ensuring each camper is challenged, supported, and engaged at just the right pace. Morning: Minecraft – Mega City Builders Campers start their day in Minecraft Education, designing and building their own “mega city.” Younger learners focus on foundational concepts like community buildings, transportation basics, and simple block-based coding, while older students tackle more advanced urban planning ideas—sustainability, infrastructure, and automated systems using MakeCode. Through collaborative world-building, all campers apply creativity and problem-solving as they envision cities that work beautifully for everyone. Afternoon: LEGO Robotics – FLL Prep In the afternoon, students transition to hands-on robotics using LEGO Spike kits. K–3rd graders work with Spike Essential to build simple robots, explore sensors and motors, and complete age-appropriate challenges inspired by FIRST LEGO League missions. Older campers use Spike Prime to engineer more complex robots and experiment with advanced coding logic. All groups practice teamwork, iteration, and strategic thinking as they prepare for the types of tasks found in competitive LEGO robotics. This full-day experience is perfect for young builders and budding engineers of every age—blending creativity, coding, and robotics into an engaging week of STEM exploration tailored to each learner’s level! Pack a thermos and lunch for your learner to enjoy a lunch break between sessions. Parents will receive daily updates on your child's learning and projects.
