About This Activity
This engaging, hands-on course is designed to introduce young learners to the exciting world of 3-D design and computer coding. Each week, students will dive into coding on Minecraft Education Edition, applying STEAM concepts to fun, interactive projects. They'll also explore Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and build with LEGO Robotics, gaining practical experience in mechanical engineering by working with gears, pulleys, axles, and levers. With a focus on creativity and problem-solving, this course is perfect for budding coders, engineers, and innovators! Multiple teachers will be at each club to ensure that students are grouped by age and ability, allowing materials to be presented in a way that is developmentally appropriate. Older and more advanced learners will be challenged with more complex topics and projects tailored to their skill level. ClassDojo will be utilized to provide updates to parents after each class and on the last class we will have a Carnival Day where students will enjoy unplugged activities and utilize their class points for prizes.
