About This Activity
Spark a passion for coding, creativity, and digital innovation in this hands-on MIT Scratch/Scratch Jr. club! Students will design and program their own interactive stories, animations, games, and creative projects while exploring foundational computer science concepts through engaging, project-based learning. Along the way, they'll strengthen computational thinking, logical reasoning, creativity, collaboration, perseverance, and problem-solving skills as they bring their ideas to life through code. Students are grouped by age and experience to ensure lessons, projects, and challenges are appropriately tailored to their skill level. No prior coding experience is required. Families will receive regular updates through ClassDojo highlighting student accomplishments and projects completed throughout the club.
