This hands-on, project-based club is designed for students in 3rd–5th grade to explore coding and robotics through LEGO Robotics and Scratch. Students will build and program LEGO robots while learning engineering concepts, problem-solving, and teamwork. They will also use Scratch to create interactive games, stories, and animations while developing foundational coding skills such as sequencing, loops, events, and variables. Through creative challenges and age-appropriate projects, students will strengthen their coding confidence, collaboration, and independent thinking. No prior coding or robotics experience is required. Parents will receive regular ClassDojo updates highlighting completed projects and lessons learned. The semester will conclude with a fun Carnival Day featuring unplugged STEAM activities and opportunities for students to use their earned class points to “purchase” prizes, celebrating their learning, effort, and teamwork.
