About This Activity
Future veterinarians and vet techs in grades 6-8 are invited to join us for our Middle School Vet Camp and find out exactly what it takes to become a vet! Campers will have the unique opportunity to tour and observe in the JHS hospital, study canine and feline body language and behavior, learn hands-on veterinary skills, participate in a Q&A with JHS medical staff, gain an understanding of common medical issues in pets, and SO much more! Date: Monday, September 1, 2025 Cost: $100 Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (extended care available for an additional $20) Drop off is from 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. and pick up is from 4:00 - 4:15 p.m. Extended care must be arranged in advance. Extended care is available beginning at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 4:45 p.m. for an additional $20. Snacks and Meals: Campers must bring a lunch and a water bottle.
