Children in grades 3-8 are invited to spend part of their winter break at the Jacksonville Humane Society! Campers will have fun learning all about animal sheltering and how to help pets at home and in the community. We’ll spend time with dogs and cats, help socialize kittens, learn about animal behavior, make festive, winter-themed crafts and treats for our four-legged friends, and much more. Drop-Off and Pickup: Drop-off is from 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. and pickup is from 4:00 - 4:15 p.m. Extended care is available beginning at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 5:15 p.m. for an additional $20 fee. Snacks and Meals: Campers MUST bring a lunch and a water bottle. One snack will be provided to all campers in the morning courtesy of our friends at Snackify. The Kona Ice truck will visit JHS during camp on Monday, December 22. If you would like your child to be able to purchase a shaved ice from the truck, please send them to camp with $3-$6 cash (depending on the size they would like to purchase).
