About This Activity
This hands-on, project-based course is designed to teach young learners the fundamentals of design, computer coding, and robotics. Each week, students will build and program their own robot, applying the concepts covered in class. They'll explore key principles of mechanical engineering, including the use of gears, pulleys, axles, and levers, while learning to code with block-based programming. With an emphasis on practical skills and creativity, this course is perfect for future coders, engineers, and innovators! ClassDojo will be utilized to provide updates to parents after each class and in the last class we will have a Carnival Day where students will enjoy unplugged activities and utilize their class points for prizes.
