Start Smart Basketball is a six-week instructional program that helps parents teach their children, ages 4-6, the basics of basketball, such as dribbling, ball handling, passing, catching, shooting, and running. The program helps prepare children for organized youth sports by using safe, fun, and age-appropriate equipment to teach them the basic motor skills needed to play basketball, without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Both parents and children should dress in active clothes. Only one parent per child, if possible, no spectators preferred.
Minimum: 8, Maximum: 16
