About This Activity
How do we taste? Why do apples turn brown when you cut them? What goes into making our favorite foods? Explore the exciting world of Food Science with our FREE Spark Day, hosted and sponsored by the Chicagoland Food Science Foundation. Girl Scouts will explore hands-on experiments with food, including getting to make a sweet treat, as well as learn about all the different career opportunities in the field of food science. NOTE: As we will be experimenting with food during this program, please list any food allergies or sensitivities when registering. This is a Drop off event. This program is for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will receive a Chicagoland Food Science Foundation patch for participating.
