About This Activity
Debby Erickson from Ukulele Orchestra of Kamloops (UOK) will demonstrate how a ukulele works and give a short lesson and answer questions for those who are interested in learning more. Because the ukulele has only 4 strings it is relatively easy to learn. UOK currently has over 130 members and there are opportunities to play in groups each week. This lesson will teach you to play at least 1 song. Follow-up lesson information will be given out as well as a wealth of internet instruction and songs. Ukuleles and music stands will be provided.
