About This Activity
Introduction to Design Principles will introduce students to the common principles of design such as Rhythm, Scale, Contrast, and Color. We will demonstrate how these principles are applied in the environment all around us and how often they are used in well-known artwork and in everyday examples like advertising. Each week will explore a new Principle with a fun creative project, culminating in a final project that the students can bring home. They will leave with a better ability to notice and identify the use of artistic design around them every day. NO CLASS 9/7 in observation of Labor Day
