About This Activity
Young artists and creators will explore the exciting world of design through color, shape, balance, pattern, texture, and composition! In this engaging, hands-on class, students ages 8–11 will learn the basic principles of design while creating fun projects inspired by art, theater, fashion, and everyday objects. Through drawing, crafting, and creative problem-solving activities, students will discover how designers use visual elements to communicate ideas and tell stories. This class encourages imagination, collaboration, and confidence while helping students develop a strong creative foundation. No prior experience required! NO CLASS 9/7 in observation of Labor Day
