About This Activity
Something’s “rockin” in the state of Denmark! This summer KCYA/HASF present Hamlet set to music inspired by England’s most famous psychedelic band. Join the cast of this Shakespeare classic as we explore it’s themes set in a dystopian world spinning out of control. Live music will help to bring this tragic tale to life in a fresh new way. Ages 10-18. Directed by HASF Director of Education, Matt Rapport. Music Direction by KCYA Teaching Artist, Chris Hudson. Camp dates for Hamlet: • Rehearsals (Auditions the first day of camp) July 7-11, July 14-18, and July 21-25 o 4:30pm – 7:30pm each day • Performances: o July 26 (5:30pm call time for cast and crew), 7pm SHOW o July 27 (1:30pm call time for cast and crew), 3pm SHOW
