You want your child to try something creative, hands-on, and confidence-building—but it’s hard to find activities that truly engage them (and don’t end in frustration or more screen time). When kids are curious about sewing but don’t know where to start, it can feel overwhelming—for both of you. You don’t want to invest in supplies or commit to ongoing classes only to find out it’s not the right fit. Our Beginner’s Workshop is the perfect starting point. In this fun, two-hour class, new students learn how to safely use a sewing machine and complete a simple, take-home project—giving them a real sense of accomplishment from day one. All materials are included, so you can skip the guesswork and just let them try. By the end of class, your child will feel proud, capable, and excited to create more. And you’ll know whether sewing is something they love—without a big commitment. Note: A Beginner's Workshop is a prerequisite to all of our other classes and camps.
