This is a weekly program for homeschool children ages 5 to 13 to engage with earth-based skills and learn in a small group setting. We will create an environment where you can bridge your relationship with the local landscape through bushcraft and earth connection experiences. Be prepared for your child to learn how to explore the edge of what our connection with the earth can offer, while also having a fun experience with other children. For the winter session we will be outside as much as the weather and our comfort allows and then we will go in the barn at Friendly Circle and work on projects. Each week I will likely start a new project such as basket making, wood carving, buckskin pouches, making flutes, moccasins, stool carving, earring making, beading, bow making and more. Everyone can choose which project they want to work on each day with tools, materials and guidance available. At the end of the session we can have a museum and a trading blanket. Dates: 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25
