About This Activity
Join this 4-session kayak course designed to help students gain confidence on the water. Every Wednesday in October, students will meet at Nightengale Archaeological Center to learn proper paddling techniques and water safety for kayakers. Students will develop their kayak strokes with different games, review kayaking equipment and learn about the wildlife along the Colorado River’s banks. Instructors are ACA and Red Cross Lifeguard certified.
