Get ready to step into the spotlight in this hilariously twisted two-week non-musical scripted camp where nothing is as it seems. Five mysterious color-coded guests. A mansion. A murder. Can the killer get away with it? And how will the sleuths bring them to justice? A handy guide for how to escape the law when you just happen to be a prime suspect of a mysterious murder. How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery is a show that hilariously skewers the tropes of the murder mystery: an airtight alibi, a long-winded monologue by a detective with an accent, an impossibly complicated Rube Goldberg murder device? Check, check, and check! Intensive Performance Camps are two-three weeks of casting, rehearsing, and performing a fully-staged musical or play. The camp also provides 7th – 12th graders a variety of focused skill-building exercises intended to improve students’ theater skills. The multi-week structure allows students to hone acting and performance skills, and rehearse a longer more detailed play.
