About This Activity
Do you have a student that loves pop radio and wants to claim their inner pop or rock star? Then, this is the camp for them. Actors will create and act out their own sensational pop story! We'll will choose what characters will be in our story, whether a real pop star or characters of our own invention, as we write our own original concert-themed play! In Change It Up Camp students create and perform a world premiere in one week! We will create a parody version or popular story or genre, and learn the acting skills to bring it to life under the direction of professional theater artists. Then, after rehearsing our original script, we’ll premiere it on the final day of camp for our family and friends.
