About This Activity
This is an open-enrollment course, which means students may enroll each month and complete the course within the published timeframe for their specific session. While the course is self-paced within that window, all required assignments and activities must be completed by the posted end date for the enrolled month. This course provides opportunities to work in long-term care facilities by assisting residents with activities, social engagement, and quality-of-life programming. No prerequisite is required. The course is designed to give students practical training and insight into working with activity programs in nursing homes, including planning, implementation, and resident-focused engagement.
