About This Activity
Come sing, dance, and act as you perform in BEETLEJUICE JR, based on the popular movie! This class is open for kids 7-14 years old and are taught by award winning theater professionals. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium. Auditions and callbacks will be on the first day of rehearsal, so you will leave knowing your role! Every person will have a named role and lines. Space is limited to 30 people on a first come, first serve basis. Tuition is $395 and we offer sibling discounts. (Company members-$300) Thursdays 4:30-7:30 and Saturdays 9am-12pm.
