About This Activity
Welcome to Sound & Story: A Radio Theatre Adventure! Step into the magical world of audio storytelling where young performers create entire worlds using just their voices and everyday objects. In this unique week-long workshop, students will learn the art of voice acting, discover how to make amazing sound effects (did you know a box of cornstarch can sound like walking through snow?), and create their own radio drama! They'll transform into multiple characters through voice acting, become sound effects wizards, and work together to bring stories to life through sound. The week ends with a live performance and recording session that families can watch and take home to enjoy again and again. Perfect for creative minds, story lovers, and kids who love to make noise with purpose! No previous experience needed – just bring your imagination and voice!
