About This Activity
All youth camps are hosted at Ragin’ Cajuns Esports Team Lab. All skill levels welcome. Each participant receives access to their own Professional Gaming PC. ESPORTS & STEM CAMPS combine interactive challenges, team competitions, and skill building to create dynamic and fun-filled experiences for all skill levels. *Engage in team-based activities featuring popular video games like Minecraft, Fortnite, Fall Guys, Roblox, Rocket League and more *Take on STEM challenges, practice video editing and capturing and win special prizes *Focus on creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through structured gameplay *Scheduled off-screen breaks with fun activities and university experiences ESPORTS MULTI TECH CAMPS combine esports, introduction to coding, and introduction to game design. *Beginner hands-on coding activities using Minecraft Education for interactive learning *Explore Block-based coding, Python, and Javascript *Design and create games using Roblox Studio with professional guidance *Collaborate with peers on game mechanics and functions *Promotes creativity, critical & logical thinking, problem solving *Balanced schedule with off-screen breaks and university experiences LUNCH IS PROVIDED FOR ALL CAMP SESSIONS. Participants can bring their own snacks and should bring their own refillable water bottle. Camp sessions are led by UL alumni and former Ragin' Cajuns Esports member.
