SWEET TREATS! BAKING DESSERTS AND PASTRY MAKING A sweet opportunity for hands on instruction in the fundamentals of bakeshop. Participants will learn about the basic ingredients: flour, sugar, eggs, milk, butter and flavorings. They will learn the art of dessert and pastry making in addition to safety and sanitation in the kitchen. From after school snack ideas to holiday desserts, students will learn how to prepare cookies, pies, cakes, biscuits and more! Bakers of all levels welcomed. Camp includes all food, supplies, and copies of recipes. Participants must wear a hat/cap or hair net, apron and closed toe shoes.
