June 22-25, 2026 CHECK IN: 9:30 am - 10 am CAMP SESSION: 10 am - 3 pm The UL Institute for Materials Research Innovation (IMRI) is proud to launch its first summer camp in 2026. This hands-on Manufacturing Camp is designed for students entering 6th–8th grade and introduces them to the exciting world of making and creating. Campers will explore the full manufacturing process—from concept to completion—through engaging activities that highlight modern production methods and technologies as they begin to bring their ideas to life. Throughout the camp, students will be introduced to key manufacturing processes while gaining insight into real-world manufacturing environments through guided campus tours, hands-on experiences, and interactive demonstrations. In addition to hands-on learning, students will think creatively and develop problem-solving skills as they apply what they learn in fun, practical ways. Outdoor time and interactive activities are built into the camp experience to keep campers engaged and energized. For safety, students should wear closed-toe tennis shoes each day. Lunch and snacks will be provided, though campers are welcome to bring additional snacks if they prefer. Please also bring a refillable water bottle daily to stay hydrated.
