Club SciKidz’s Mini Med School is a STEM.org accredited program designed to introduce early learners to Anatomy and Physiology. The curriculum uses high-sensory "Clinics" to teach how different body systems work together to keep us healthy. Core Learning Objectives: Organ Systems & Discovery: Campers explore the "Big Three"—the Heart, Lungs, and Brain. They build Functional Lung Models and use stethoscopes to hear the rhythmic "thump-thump" of a beating heart. The "Skintastic" Lab: Students learn about the body’s largest organ (the skin!) by creating Fingerprint Art and learning how our "outer shield" protects us from germs. Microbiology & Hygiene: Through the "Glitter Germ" experiment, children visualize how bacteria spread and learn the science behind effective handwashing and immune support. Skeletal Strength: Campers assemble "Mr. Bones" models to identify key skeletal structures and learn why calcium and exercise are the fuel for strong foundations. Quick Facts for Busy Families The Doctor’s Bag: Every camper takes home their own real stethoscope and a collection of medical crafts to continue their "practice" at home. STEM.org Accredited: Vetted for academic rigor, ensuring your child learns the correct names for organs and biological processes. Safe & Nurturing: Led by educators specializing in early childhood, our labs provide a gentle, high-energy introduction to medical science. Flexible Hours: Full-day (9 AM – 4 PM) and Half-day options are available, with Pre-Camp and Post-Camp care to support working parents. Enroll Your Future MD Mini Med School is a premier "feeder" program for our Junior Physician and Emergency Medicine camps. Because of the specialized medical tools provided, these sessions are strictly limited to small group sizes and sell out quickly.
