The fourth of our six class levels, High School Prep is for intermediate to advanced players focused on competitive, high-energy skill development. Shooting off the dribble, creating separation, finishing through contact, etc. Most of our athletes in this group fall between the ages of 11 - 14, but ultimately, it is the skill level we organize athletes by. Ball Handling Focus - Live combo moves (crossover, hesitation, in-and-out, behind-the-back) tied to a specific scoring purpose - Change-of-speed attacks on closeouts and live defenders - Escape dribbles and counters when the first move is taken away Shot Creation Focus - Pull-up jumpers off one and two dribbles - Step-back and side-step separation shots - Floaters and runners for finishing in the lane through length - Finishing through contact at the rim Our six class levels are based on ability, but here are approximate ages for each level: Jr Dribblers (ages 4 - 7) Lil Ballers (ages 6 - 10) Young Ballers (ages 9 - 12) High School Prep (ages 11 - 14) Varsity Prep (ages 13 - 16) College Prep (Ages 15 - 18)
