About This Activity
Camp Starlight, presented in partnership with the Michigan Dyslexia Institute (MDI), offers children with dyslexia a welcoming overnight camp experience designed to build confidence, self-esteem, compassion, and a strong sense of belonging. Campers live and participate alongside Mystic Lake campers, creating opportunities to make new friends, try new things, and discover their strengths. MDI provides an inspiring evening program focused on hope, kindness, perseverance, and reaching our potential, while Mystic Lake staff create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. With caring staff, exciting activities, new experiences, and a beautiful setting, Camp Starlight is a place where campers return year after year—and where lifelong friendships are made. Note: Children registered for Camp Starlight will be in cabins with both Camp Starlight campers and children registered for Mystic Experience.
