About This Activity
Thank you for applying for a volunteer position with Kamp KACE. This personnel Application Form is necessary to provide a safe environment for our children, youth, and volunteers as well as to effectively place our volunteers in program positions. Kamp KACE volunteers are needed. Primary responsibilities include serving as a cabin counselor, engaging with youth, participating with them in all Kamp activities, and supervising 24/7. Volunteers must serve as good role models, be team players, have positive attitudes, and be willing to participate in and assist with all activities delegated to you. Our counselors work in teams of 2-5 to provide a caring and compassionate environment for our kampers. Cabin assignments are based on the needs of the kampers, availability of staff, and the needs of Kamp. This position requires you to be in attendance from Saturday through Friday afternoon. Staff training is held Saturday and Sunday prior to the kampers arriving. Staff are required to maintain routine vaccinations for highly contagious diseases - proof of routine childhood immunizations is required, and all staff need a Tdap every 10 years. COVID and influenza vaccines are recommended, not required.
