Join Lakeside Chautauqua, in partnership with Alex Sheen, Founder of because I said I would, for this 4-day, 3-night overnight experience focused on developing resiliency skills and healthy mental health habits for teens entering grades 9-12. Throughout the week teens will participate in structured, supportive, resiliency workshops on the topics of Self Control, Stress Management, Identifying Negative Thinking Patterns, Critical Thinking through Life's Adversities, and Goal Setting. Supervised recreational programming includes pool swimming, mini golf, shuffleboard, and Amazing Race style games. This camp is designed for campers from a wide range of backgrounds including those experiencing challenges such as bullying, grief, or school stress and high performing teens seeking to strengthen their resilience and leadership skills. The camp is designed to support all teens by providing tools that help them manage stress, build confidence and grow in character. Camp fees include 3 nights lodging, gate fees, all meals and snacks and activities. A payment plan is available with a $76.25 payment during checkout ($50 deposit plus $26.25 registration system fees). A limited number of camp scholarships are available for those who meet federal income guidelines to receive free and reduced pricing meals at school.
