About This Activity
This 4-day beginner Sailing class runs Monday-Thursday from 10:30 am - 12:15 pm. In this fun and experiential sailing program participants will learn the basics of sailing including sailing terms and fundamentals, boat rigging, basic sailing knots. Boat handling including maneuvering the sail and rudder will be practiced. Participants must be comfortable swimming in the open lake away from shore. A water comfort check as well as capsize lesson and drill will be completed on Day 1.
