Do you enjoy looking at the sky and seeing stars at night? For centuries, people have been looking up on clear nights and gazing at the stars. Kelly Sommers, District STEAM Instructional Coach for Sandusky City Schools, will discuss which stars and planets are visible in the summer skies at night and where they are located. Stories about the constellations and asterisms will be shared. Participants will get a star chart and the method of understanding how to use it to find constellations in the sky. NOTE: This is a parent/child program. Parents/guardians are kindly requested to stay and share the experience with their child. Pre-registration is not required. This program is included with your Lakeside Chautauqua Gate Pass.
