About This Activity
If you enjoy singing, join the Chautauqua Choir for the 2025 season. The chorus, comprised of singers (ages 13+), performs a variety of music, from traditional sacred choral works to gospel and contemporary selections. It’s an opportunity for first-time singers who want to try singing in a choir for enrichment, as well as for advanced singers who want a tranquil choral experience. Music is provided. No auditions are required, and there’s no participation fee to sing in the choir. Rehearsals are 6-7 p.m. Thursdays from June 19-Aug. 14 in the Fountain Inn Aigler Room and 9:30 a.m. Sundays prior to the Chautauqua Community Worship Service in Hoover Auditorium from June 22-Aug. 31. The chorus sings weekly during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Chautauqua Community Worship Service in Hoover Auditorium from June 22-Aug. 31 and other events throughout the summer. Participants may sing all summer or during the time they are visiting Lakeside. An entry pass is issued to choir singers who live outside the Lakeside grounds from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sundays and for rehearsal time.
