About This Activity
Students will learn the Ukrainian Easter egg decorating technique. Designs are drawn onto an egg with hot wax, then the egg is dyed. Successive layers of wax and dye will be applied. The wax is then melted and wiped off, revealing an intricate batik-style egg. Two eggs will likely be able to be completed.
