About This Activity
Description
This adapted theater class designed for teens and adults with disabilities, promoting creativity, self confidence, social interaction and positive self-esteem through singing, acting and dancing. Individuals have the opportunity to participate in short skits and engage in solo or small group performances learning the basic aspects of the stage, such as character interaction, movement, and expression. Ability to read and previous theater experience are NOT required to register. 10 weeks; New participants or those using alternative agency funding contact Tracy Ammon, Associate Director of Creative Arts Therapies at tammon@beckcenter.org. *NOTE: All Makers classes are inclusive.
