About This Activity
Description
This class is designed for students with disabilities that introduces music, theater, dance/movement, and visual arts. Participants learn different art forms by engaging in movement to music, instrument play, creative dramatics, theater games, and other activities which incorporate singing, dancing, imagination and hands-on creativity. Students work to enhance gross motor skills and balance, develop body awareness and self expression, increase social interaction, and expand their creative abilities. Facilitated by Creative Arts Therapies staff. 9 weeks, no classes on 7/4; Additional fees supported by Community West Foundation.
