About This Activity
Description
Designed for beginners or those looking to refresh skills, students will learn the basics of guitar playing including posture, note names, reading, ear training, and more. Explore music of different genres, playing as a group and independently. This course prepares students to join private guitar studies in their area of interest. Student provides acoustic guitar, strap, and tuner. Hal Leonard method book provided.
Students provide their own acoustic guitar, strap and tuner. Fee for sheet music is included in the tuition; materials will be distributed in class.
